Categories
Organize your products into logical groups.
What are Categories?
Categories organize your products into logical groups (e.g., “Clothing”, “Electronics”). They help customers find products easily and simplify store management.
How to Create Categories
- Go to the Categories tab
- Click the + sign at the bottom of the table
- Enter the category name
- Upload a cover image for the category
The CRM includes default categories from templates — you can delete or modify these to match your products.
Parent Categories
A parent category is a main, broader category that includes more specific subcategories.
Example Hierarchy:
Clothing (parent)
├── T-Shirts
├── Jackets
└── Pants
Electronics (parent)
├── Phones
├── Tablets
└── AccessoriesHow to Create a Parent Category:
- First, create the parent category as a regular category (e.g., “Clothing”)
- Then, create your subcategories (e.g., “T-Shirts”, “Jackets”)
- For each subcategory, select the parent in the Set Parent Category column
💡 The “Parent Category” field is optional. Only use it if you need hierarchical organization.
Category Images
Use rectangular .webp images for category covers. The image should represent the category clearly.
Linking Products to Categories
How to Link
- Open the Products tab
- Find your product
- If not linked, the Category column will show “No record linked”
- Click on “No record linked”
- Click Link record
- Select the appropriate category
- Done!
⚠️ Products without a linked category may not appear correctly in your store navigation.
Category Visibility Troubleshooting
⚠️ If a category is set as its own “parent category,” the category and all its products will not show up in the store.
